Claudio Massimo Colombo is full professor of Soil Science at Molise University. He took his Ms. Degree in Agronomy Science at Naples University in 1986 and his Ph.D. in Soil Science at the University of Cordoba (Spain) in 1993. The research focused on soil chemistry, soil mineralogy, soil pollution and sustainable agricultural development. Teaching focus on soil science, soil chemistry, environmental sciences and pedology. The position entails full-time involvement in pre- and postgraduate teaching, supervising students for MSc and PhD degrees. He was a Senior Fellowship at the Research Centre for Eco-Environmental Science RCEES-CAS, Beijing (China) and Senior Fellowship at the Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences, GNU, South Korea 2011- 2013. He was Secretary Deputy of the SISS Italian Soil Science Society (SISS) and Member of the Directive Commission of the Italian Pedology Society (SIPe) from 2005 to 2014. Direct activity in 10 research programs and 1 EU coordination projects with European-Asiatic and Chinese Universities. He was in the Editorial board of the Korean Journal of Soil Science and Fertilizer and Journal of Soil and Sediment and Plant. He was author or coauthor of 12 chapters in books, 64 scientific articles published (H-Index 27 Web Of Science, H-index 29 su Scopus, http://orcid.org/0000-0002-4744-0535).
